I have been selling real estate for the past 16 years, starting shortly after I moved to San Francisco. I specialize in sales of residential and investment properties in both San Francisco and Marin. In my heart, I believe where a person lives has a huge impact on their happiness and I find tremendous satisfaction in helping people find their homes. My clients tell me they appreciate my calm nature, knowledge of the San Francisco market and business-like manner. My goal is to always negotiate the best possible deal for my clients.
My first job out of college was on Wall Street but I quickly realized I wanted to take a more entrepreneurial career path so I left NYC and went to business school. After business school, I moved west to San Francisco because the city had always intrigued me and I couldn’t imagine a better place to live. After 2 years of working in tech start-ups, I took the leap, got my real estate license and started selling real estate. I sold my first house in two weeks and took that as sign that I should make this my lifelong career.
Looking back on it, becoming a real estate agent makes perfect sense because I have always loved houses and design. I am fascinated with the real estate market, particularly the hyper-local nuances that drive value. Through the years I have come to appreciate that the most important thing I can do as a real estate agent is to listen to my clients and collaborate with them so they come out of the process educated about the market and feeling positive about their experience. As a result, I have built a very loyal group of clients.
I live in the Presidio with my husband, Ken, his two children, and our daughter Annabel. I am very involved in the San Francisco community, particularly with groups that support children and the environment. I am on the board of bay.org, the largest environmental nonprofit to focus on the health of San Francisco Bay and am also a member of the Friends Group at the Bay Area Discovery Museum and the Junior Symphony Auxiliary. Our family loves to travel and we spend several weeks a summer in Mexico trying to learn Spanish.
One of my favorite things about San Francisco is it’s diversity – and not just the people. I love the distinct neighborhoods and the fact that you can live in almost any type of house that you want – a Victorian house, a modern house, an old fashioned co-op, a loft, or a modern high-rise. I have studied, walked and sold houses in all the neighborhoods in San Francisco and would love to share my knowledge with you!
